Microsoft Weather location

I recently discovered how much I like the look of the Microsoft weather app and have pinned it to my start screen. I'm out of town for the weekend, and can't seem to get it to display my current location. I've enabled "detect my location" with no luck. I have location enabled on my phone. Even when I "launch" a new favorite, the live tile won't update and when I open the app again I'm right back to my home city. Any advice?

Check your settings within the weather app that you have selected Auto detect my location instead of the defaulted home location.

I have done that (see above). It says change will occur upon relaunching, but it doesn't. I wonder if the app on my PC at home is somehow affecting the ability to migrate?

It's now following my location. I guess the key word with Windows 10 is patience. Everything just takes a while. Now the live tile isn't working. I will wait...
