Microsoft's bigger problem

So I was listening to one of my favorite business coaches today. He had this to say about Microsoft. Now this was the Ballmer days. I think the Surface team understands what Simon is saying in this video, but I'm not sure the rest of the Microsoft team gets it or even more importantly for this forum, us as fans. Curious all your thoughts on this video. He starts by setting up a principle, then he uses Microsoft as an example. The Zune is mentioned. Enjoy.

Infinite game players "seek to make the experience for their customers better today than it was yesterday." As a customer of Microsoft, I don't see this element in their strategy.
