Silly question but do I need to do anything special if I want to upgrade from my current 64gb MicroSD to a 128gb MicroSD? Is it just a case of copy pasting all the files across and it should work nicely, or do I need to 'clone' it?

I currently have Windows set to save music/videos/downloads/etc to the SD, as well as some of my older games on Steam (i.e. the ones which don't need to be on the MicroSD like Unreal Tournament and Simcity 4).

Well, you can copy everything to a large USB drive or the SSD of the SP. Then, when you're done, you can eject the sd card and put in the new one. Format it, and copy everything back. See if the default locations are the same. If they aren't, you'll need to reconfigure those, but that will take very little time.

The only big thing I'd say is to select and view hidden files, otherwise, you could miss something!

just a note... 128 GB microSD cards tend to be less stable than the 64 GB cards. so if you plug in a 128 GB card and it disappears after some usage, exchange it for another one. And if that one also fails, try a different model/brand. there is a ton of variability with 128+ GB cards.

Thanks. I tried to use a cloning tool but it couldn't expand the partition to fill the 128gb so will just do this approach tonight.

This is worrying since I bought my Samsung Evo+ from overseas on eBay but fingers crossed...
