Hi,
I wanted the connect my Surface Pro 1 with a mini Displayport-to-hdmi cable to my tv but I got a 'no signal' error instead. I do see my Surface Pro's screen going black for a second like it did connect something(?).
Than I tried it with a monitor and got the same problem.
I tried both the extend and duplicate 'project' modes and naturally have the respective tv / monitor set to source hdmi (/hdmi-to-hdmi cables between my other laptop to the tv / monitors work like a charm).
Can I fix this issue?
Perhaps I am missing a driver for my Surface Pro 1? (it is on Windows 10 1903)
Or do you think the cable is broken? (no visible on the outside though, it is a new cable, and the cable seems to fit completely)
