Unless Microsoft plans to roll out a day one update to include browser extension support for Edge & have a few extensions available right away, I think Microsoft's new Edge browser will fail to win any users back. For me personally, it's been tough to test Microsoft Edge even though performance wise its been pretty pleasant, but as a long time user of FireFox with AdBlock Plus + YouTube AdBlocker, I forgot how many advertisements were tossed at us on web sites these days (sorry WC, you're no exception).
Point is, I don't see many users willing to stick around to give the new browser a chance with no way to ditch common annoyances or improve and personalize their browsing experience through extensions.
