MMS pictures being compressed

I've been using the W10 preview for quite some time now on my spare Lumia 1520. With build 10512 I decided to take it out as my daily driver. I was surprised to find almost every picture I send being terribly compressed, some to the point that the picture is almost worthless. Has anyone else ran into this issue or are there any workarounds for it?

So it seems to be happening at the phone level. The pictures I take are of the normal resolution but as soon as I add them to a message using the built in messaging app it says "Attaching..." and the picture it attaches is a fraction of the size/resolution

Oh, I see. Have you tried doing a master reset of the phone? I know it can be a pain as you need to reinstall everything. But it tends to fix issues when upgrading windows 10. I reset my phone every time there is an upgrade. Just make sure that you have a back up of your stuff.

Hard reset the phone twice since the last reply here and the problem still persists. Currently this is preventing me from using WP10 as my daily driver since I use mms quite frequently. Just checking back again to see if anyone else came across this issue.
