MMS vs Internet Sharing

I have an unlocked Lumia 900 on T-Mobile USA. The first time I set up the device I used Nokia's Network Setup app, and it allowed me to get my MMS, but trying to enable Internet Sharing says that only ATT can enable it. I hard reset my phone and Internet Sharing worked! but MMS did not. I downloaded Network Setup again and once again Internet Sharing refused to work but MMS did. So I hard reset again but have not used Nokia's tool. Editing APNs is severely limiting as WP7 won't let you change that many settings, or maybe I'm over looking something. Can anyone help me? Is there a way to get both MMS and Internet Sharing working?

Give T-Mo a call. The APN they give you might be different than what the app is trying to setup.

i called my carrier to activate tethering (it was an option, free ) then hard reset everything worked
