Hello everyone, I was sent a short video via MMS. Is there a way to save it to the phone? The option to save is not there like it would be if you got a pic. Thanks

To be honest, I didn't think any US wireless carrier allowed any file over about 300kb via MMS. It must be a really small video or animated gif.

When you plug your phone into Zune, doesn't it show up under video or pictures?

If you press your finger on the video, does it give you any options?

I don't have Zune yet. I am still awaiting my laptop which would be today. When you hold your finger on the video. The only options are forward or delete. Its only a 27 second video, which came via mms from my cousins iPhone.
Its not a big deal,the work around is to email it back to yourself. The size of the video was 763Kb's.

I just experimented. I sent a MMS to my phone. Tap the video twice and then select save to phone.

When it opens, you have 3 small dots in the lower right hand corner correct? Like this...

Touching the three dots should give you a save option. It did for me, but I sent a picture, not a video over MMS.

I guess from investigating further video sharing whether by email or MMS is not available. I guess with Mango it is. But I just downloaded the Zune pass and my phone updated, and as far as I know I do not have Mango. Thanks again palandri.
