Modern app file associations

Hi all,

Does anyone know how to add more Modern apps as options for file associations?
For example, I download a Modern notepad app. I want to use it by default to edit PowerShell scripts. So I go to Default programs and choose .ps1, only regular Windows Notepad is an option. How can I force add the downloaded Modern app to the list of available applications?
