Moving to California from UK - best city?

Hi all,

Im exploring the possibility of moving to California from the UK. I have a business so getting sponsored is not an issue. Im fed up with the crap weather in the UK and want to be close to mountains, lakes, beach's and Vegas!

Which city is good to live in, close to tech hub, great night life, restaurants etc, don't have family yet.

Moving from the UK to Californa? Sounds like a ... Great deal :wink: I've been to LA but not much outside the main tourist hub spots. Seemed like a nice enough place, although oddly foggy when I was there.

i say don't move to northern Cali because northern Cali is only agriculture and there isn't much to do ( unless you check out Chico or Sacramento). check out places in the bay area or so cal where things are happening and the night life is pretty cool
