Music files show up as 'Other' in Storage Sense when I use an SD card - why?

Hi guys,

I have a Lumia 1520 running WP8.1. All of my music is stored on an SD Card. However, when I go into Storage Sense it says there is no music on the SD Card, and instead all the files fall into the 'Other' category. This is really annoying, and also seems to affect syncing too, as when I sync my phone with my Mac using the Microsoft software it thinks there is no music too! Formatting the card and re-syncing doesn't help. The music shows up and plays fine in my Music app though.

I changed from an iPhone to WP and am really disappointed with how WP8.1 handles music.

Is anyone else experiencing the same issue and do you have any solutions?

Yup myself too... Am using Lumia 720.. Still haven't come across any faults though.. Lets hope for the best..

The same thing is happening to me on my 1520. I have a class 10 32 GB sd card. My other 16 gb card is not a class 10 and it works fine.

Anyone find a solution?
