Music recognition within Cortana

I was trying to identify a song from the radio yesterday and got the following results:

Song title: Song unrecognized
Album: this service is retired
Artist: music continues

Did they retire this service at the same time that they retired the digital music purchases through the Microsoft Store at the end of 2017? I didn't read the part about the service being retired the first time, so I did a second search thinking that the song was unrecognized because the phone could hear the music clearly enough.

This is really bad I know and there was no announcement. However, just reload Shazam. It isn't in the store anymore but there is a link to the download which still works in this article

Then just say "Shazam this" to Cortana, and you will find the song.

I tried it this week, and nothing. WP is being less capable now. Nokia 8/9 android switch?

I just tried Shazam on my Windows phone (Microsoft Lumia 650, windows 10 Mobile) and it works!

I downloaded it from the Microsoft Store.
