Music through Bluetooth stops when receiving text, does not restart

So i installed a new alpine cd143bt receiver in my car to listen to music through bluetooth. When i receive a text, the music stops and the screen shows paused on my receiver. So i check the text on my phone, but the music does not continue after checking and there is no way for me to unpause. I press teh volume button on my phone to see if i can press play, but the box that shows you the back forward and play is gone. So i have to go to xbox music app and go to the playlist to restart. If a text comes in again, then i have to do it all over again instead of the music continuing.

Anyway to fix this?

When a phone call comes, my music stops and starts up again after the call is completed. So that works fine.

Try it with another BT receiver and see if the same result. Personally I'm leaning towards the Alpine unit. The phone may be waiting on the head unit to tell it to resume. NEXT!
