Greetings, everyone.
Last month, I finally had to move on from my beloved Lumia 1520 after 5 years of use. I just replaced the battery last year, so it runs good as new battery wise, but the increasing lack of functionality with all apps having their plugs pulled finally forced my hand.
I had fallen in love with the new Sony Xperia 1 when it was announced, and I have to say, that the Xperia 1 with Launcher 10 is a beautiful successor to Windows Phone.
The flagship Lumia's are well regarded for recording loud events such as concerts due to Nokia's HAAC microphones. It took me a couple weeks to get around to the editing, but I have a video comparing the capture quality between the Xperia 1 and Lumia 1520.
The Xperia 1 has a higher treble sound than the Lumia 1520.
Side note: This 1080p recording shows that the Xperia 1's image stabilization works well at 1080p, but at 4k it seems brutally non-existent. The old Nokia OIS was so great.
Further details in the description of the youtube video.
