My Display Dock is blinking red and nothing happens, has anyone else had this problem?

My Display Dock is blinking red and nothing happens

Connected everything to the Display Dock but it just keeps blinking red. My Lumia 950 doesn't recognize it either. Tried both DisplayPort and HDMI port. Any one else had this problem? Couldn't find anything on this problem with Bing.

check the charger/adapter, try the one that came with your phone. In my case that was the reason.

My dock was blinking white light, but when I changed AC-adapter to that one which came with my 950XL, the light became steady -- and after that it turned red!

My phone said that immediate update to docks firmware was necessary. It took few seconds. After update red light disappeared.

If I disconnect & reconnect AC-adapter, red light is on about one second, and when the dock connects with phone, it disappears/turns white.
