Nokia is the best ever, my historical mobile is start from Nokia 3210, then Nokia 3310, Nokia 9210, Nokia 9300i, Lumia 625, Lumia 925, iPhone 4, Lenovo P70A, Lumia 1020, and from those devices I still having Nokia 3310, 9300i, Lumia 925, Lumia 1020, and iPhone 4

It was some LG flip phone that was blue and silver. I remember being excited that I found a way to get a ringtone of a song I like. Had to recycle it since I no longer have the charger.

Nokia 5110 back then served me for six (6) years. Left it because I was migrating. Had more than enough drops...

Nokia 5125, with the removable battery and antenna. It was a very strong phone and also wasn't scared of water.

first handheld device? Palm m505
first technically-a-smartphone? Palm Pre 2 (shortly after the Apothekalypse)
first phone with service and everything? Lumia 920

all those hold a special spot.

Wow. Such young people.

Well, since you said, "Mobile Phone" and not "Cellular Phone", then these count. The first one was a "Radio Phone," I think, but connected to land lines just fine. Expensive per minute charges, though. Early 80's. (1980s, not 1880s people.)

Yeah, first one was rotary dial...

Later upgraded to push buttons.

Phone service only. No texting. No voicemail. If you didn't answer, you missed the call.

Talk about bad service areas. You couldn't stray far from the city with those things. :winktongue:

My first "Smart Phone" was HTC Wizard. It ran Windows Mobile 5.0. I still have it, and my wife actually uses it from time to time.

I upgraded to a Lumia 520 from there, then a Lumia 635, and now a 640. Perhaps I'll get a higher end one some day. The 640 suits me, though.

My first mobile phone was a Trium Mars. First smartphone was an HTC P3452 running WM5.0, eventually hacked to WM6.6.5 (last version before WP7).

those make me speechless,

Not sure if Nokia E51 & E71 count as smartphones or not, otherwise Nokia Lumia 800.
Edit: I initially misread the thread as first smartphone. Please disregard my post.

First mobile phone was a Nokia 3310? Back in 2000 under what was then Voice stream (TMO). Had many Nokia cell phones since. Liked them all. First smartphone was the great but very short lived Nokia 810 in 2012. Probably the smoothest experience I ever had with a windows phone. Then after that Nokia Lumia 925. Now am using L950. Tried an HTC M8 on Android as a hold over until my 925 got replaced, but came back to windows in 2 months. Windows has all I need in an OS.

My cell rst overall phone was a Siemens C-45 in 2001. My first color phone of note was a Nokia 7210 in 2003.

I remember my grandmother having a bag phone.

My first phone was a Nokia candybar phone...I don't remember the exact model number anymore...I remember it wasn't one of the more popular handsets, so I couldn't buy the aftermarket colored fronts that snapped onto them, I was stuck with the default Nokia dark blue case.

After a little while without a phone, I went through two LG flip phones on Verizon.

My last non-smartphone, or non Windows Phone for that matter was a nifty dual slider messaging phone when I switched to at&t.

My first (and current) phone is a Samsung Ch[at]t. It's a few years old, but still going strong.

(Ugh. I can't put the at sign in it 'cause I haven't got 10 posts, and apparently this forum sees it as a link. >.<)
