My Lumia 1020 random acts like im touching the screen even when im not?

I have a Nokia lumia 1020 which some times acts like I have repeatedly pressed the screen even though I pressed once, or more annoyingly will act like it is being touched even when it is not. I have tried changing the touch sensitivity and have conducted a full factory reset to no avail. Any Ideas?

How frequently are you experiencing that issue?

I've seen that happen in my L1020, but maybe only once in 237 times I open the screen.

Hi there. I also had the same issue on my L1320. It flips over from app to another then the suddenly the screen becomes distorted and freezes. Don't know what to do. I already updated my phone to denim and updated all the windows app. I even disabled the glance screen.. Is this a hardware or software issue any help.
