At least you should have tried restarting your phone first!...

OK, didn't solve your problem? Try looking at the small inscription near the SIM slot to make sure what position you have inserted your SIM, The cut edge should match exactly the way shown. Or are you using a SIM that's smaller or bigger than what the slot supports? Although bigger SIMs won't fit, try changing your SIM, or cutting your SIM (using cutters found at SIM vendors) or placing the small SIM in an accurate way to match the gold pins.

That could also be a software issue, go into your settings and check each and every setting related to SIMs
