I'm not sure this is useful information, and it's probably already known, but I thought I'd share it anyhow.
This morning I decided to have a clean-up on my Lumia 735 (unlocked UK model) and remove apps that I no longer use. While going through the list I saw the Preview for Developers app and realised I haven't had an update in ages. Loaded up the app, opted out of developer preview updates, closed it and then uninstalled it.
About an hour later, I got a prompt from my phone stating that two updates are available:
Windows Phone 8.10.15148.160
Lumia 8.10.14234.375
A quick online search reveals that the first update is the latest version of Windows Phone 8.1. This leads me to believe that the over-the-air update was newer than the latest Preview for Developers update, so having opted in to the program the phone was being prevented from receiving the latest software.
That's my theory. Anyhow, phone is updating now. Hope this info is useful to other Lumia 735 users who have opted in to the developer preview program.
