My Microsoft 4000 wireless mouse stopped working with Windows 10 How to fix?

[Windows Central Question]

Windows 10 installed approx. 2 mo ago .Installed on a Dell Inspiron laptop .Mouse worked fine till today. Tried new battery , twice, still no work. Blue light on bottom of mouse works. Thanks for any help you can give.

Bluetooth or dongle?

Had similar issue, reinstalling the drivers fixed it

My dell TouchPad stopped working after windows 10 upgrade.. Also don't show in device manager... How to fix it??

You may need to install the proper driver from Dell support site
