my screen is broken and i have to sell my microsoft lumia 550

inorder to get a new one but i dont know how to reset this broken mobile? what about my installed apps? i havnt deleted anything but do have a secure password. should i just sell it without any reset stuff? i have no idea should i sell my phone without reset or not?

You should be able to remote wipe it by logging into your account at Microsoft. Should be under your device profile.
