My Trophy turns off after Tango

I did not want to start another thread. Nor hijack this one, so my apologies. The problem I am having since Tango, is the phone has rebooted twice on me.
And now it has resorted back to the old days, it does not wake upon ending a call.

I've decided the Trophy is a poor quality device. After Mango I got the disappearing keyboard. The update that fixed the disappearing keyboard caused my phone to randomly reboot. Tango fixed the random reboots, but messed up resuming streaming music after a text over bluetooth. I'm currently using an android and will continue until WP8 is available.

Is there a way to wipe my phone completely and re-install a previous version of the OS? I can't power down my phone and if I take out the battery and put it back in it will turn on as well. Trying to restore my phone with the restore point feature in Zune does not work either. I feel like I am stuck here but I was wondering if someone knows of an option/method that might work.

What's the latest on your phone? Have you had any luck geting it going or getting a replacement?

So the story is this. I called Verizon and HTC and since I am a year over my manufacturers warranty, and I dont have extra insurance, I would have to send it in for 75 for it to be fixed apparently. Honestly I dont want to send a phone in for a 75$ flat flee, because that is what it is. I have not had the chance to go into a Verizon store yet but I am actually planning on doing that this weekend so I will let you guys know what happens. What I ended up doing was flashing a custom ROM onto the phone to see if that would fix my problems but it was to no avail. Like I said earlier, the phone works fine but the power button is non functional, so it is just super annoying. I scooped a Pre 2 off Amazon for 75 just in case .
