Native calender Issues

Hi guys, running the 8.1DP on 1520 With US region, Living in Australia.

More often than not when I manually enter a calendar appointment it disappears within 15 seconds and doesn't save to the phone or my MS account so I then have to enter via the web calendar or using cortana.

Anyone else facing this issue and any known fixes?

That's strange. I haven't experienced that issue on my 920 running 8.1 Preview here in the US, other than the one calendar update that broke the calendar completely--that got fixed a couple days later with a calendar app update.
