Hey Folks,

First post here. I'll be eligible for an upgrade in a few weeks and am seriously considering the Lumia 900 or the Titan 2. All the reviews consistently show the Lumia to be an average performer when it comes to pictures. I saw a thread on another forum in which a 900 owner used a camera app that seemed to give crisper results (though at a small rez) than the native camera app. I've found this to be occur with my current phone, Xperia X10 (android). I use several camera apps that give better results than the native camera in certain contexts. This got me wondering if anyone here has tried using some of the other camera apps and compared the results.

Thanks,

MD

There is a discussion in the xda forums about this topic. A couple people seem to recommend sophie cam(its free). It doesn't shoot in full resolution but it does take better pictures than the native camera app. There are lots of discussions and posts about this issue between the various forums.

Yep, that's the thread I read earlier today. I wonder if an app like this one:

might give better results as well.
