Need help on unlocked DVP

I wanted to buy the DVP tmobile unlocked,but do you know whether it works on at&t 3g n/w..I have read somewhere that it doesn't support at&t 3g...nybody using it?

It supports UMTS 900/1700/2100. The 900 is for European 3G and the 1700/2100 is for T-Mobile 3G. AT&T needs either 850 or 1900 for 3G

The best you'll get with it on AT&T is 2G. To be honest, 2G isn't bad if you are only looking at mobile news sites.

Mango won't unlock it. You need to get the unlock code from T-Mobile by calling them. There are also a few places on the internet that will unlock it for you, but they will charge you for the unlock.

There's an unlocked AT&T version. I had it, but I sent it back because it had a defective screen. Waiting on a Titan at the moment.

well palandri what actually I was saying is the phone has t-mobile cariier but is unlocked,n its running WP OS 7,now if the phone is updated to mango i.e., 7.5 will it be locked again??i mean the firmware.

well at&t is available for like around $280 which is very expensive for a used phone,I checked it on e-bay.so i tht may be unlocked of t-mobile might work. nywayz thanks for the reply

Where are you buying it from? directly from dell has 2 different unlocked phones. 1 optimized for Tmo and 1 for ATT. I'm using the unlocked ATT version and have no probs!

I saw it on ebay used(t-mobile unlocked) one for $162,I was using HTC HD7S earlier but I lost it ,the phone was good but wanted to use another one,loved the windows os but can't afford for a new one.
