Network performance with SP3 Dock?

I have recently tested my network (1 Gbps) all lined with CAT 6 cable, and I have found that my SP3's Dock doesn't provide me with anything near a gigabit. At the most I have only gotten 340mbps between direct connections with a few of my servers. I am wondering if it might just be my dock, or my SP3. I haven't noticed any problem with network performance between my file server and desktop.

File transfers between the surface top out around 39MB/s and iperf wouldn't go any higher than 340Mbps.

I am really clueless as to what might be causing this inadequate performance.

Have you tried a different cable to the SP3 Dock? or a different device using the same cable? It might be possible that you have a faulty cable.

I've tried different cables, and all of them, even my older CAT 5e ones gave me about the same speed or lower. I've even tried uninstalling the Surface Ethernet Adapter and it's driver, and re installing it, no change, the speed was the same.
