iSpeak allows people with different native languages to communicate with each other through a mobile application. One person speaks in their phrase, it is converted to text and the result is spoken to the second person in their native language. iSpeak also let's you save your conversations which can come in very useful when asking for directions

The application was recently selected as the winner of the codeNinja competition due to its "novel use of both software APIs and hardware elements like the phone’s accelerometer to achieve its aims."
