New "Dolby" Volume Leveling is just plain bad... a step back.

So the 830 sports "Dolby" sound enhancements. Has there ever been a more over hyper company than Dolby Labs?

The volume leveling that was built into every WP device I have had before this is fine. Now the volume leveling feature in SETTINGS -> AUDIO says Dolby next to it. It's awful.

I was shuffling for 3 hours yesterday while working outside. Every song starts INCREDIBLY LOUD. Then just around the time you can get to it to turn the volume down, the Dolby volume leveling kicks in and makes it way too quiet.

With the old volume leveling, the volume never changed after the song started. Its also a bit too compressed. Bad job by everyone on this one.

I agree,,,and I'm missing dolby headphone too, coming from 920 this one has lot less bass levels.

I'm having the same problem...
Is there someone we could contact, or give some feedback, so it's changed back the way it's suppose to work?

Yeah 920 had Dolby headphones .
