Anyone else tried the new mobile YouTube app for Windows Mobile and S60? Go to http://m.youtube.com and download the app straight to your phone.

Seems to work OK with RedFly ... well, aside from the slow frame rate ;-) Maybe if you have a newer, faster device than me you can get a better frame rate? Or tv out will be good too, I guess.

I have an HTC Touch on US Cellular. I am presently testing out the latest beta driver on my phone for compatibility issues before making a purchase. One thing I noticed is that with the Redfly driver installed the new YouTube app doesn't work. I get an error message stating required codecs are missing. However, when I uninstall the Redfly driver the YouTube app works just fine. Any thoughts?

Admittedly we haven't tested nor support phones from US Cellular, and unfortunately even with a standard hardware platform, this can still make a difference. And so I can't really try to duplicate your experience. I did install it on my Tilt and on a Fuze and it runs fine on both phones. And unlike many media players, it actually runs on the REDFLY, albeit very slowly. The codec error message should provide some clues to what is happening, but there shouldn't be anything our software does that would cause that kind of error.

Thanks,
Laurie
