New OS market share data shows small gain for Windows 8.1 and big drop for Windows XP

Net Applications has posted its desktop operating system market share numbers for April 2015, showing a small gain for Windows 8.1 worldwide. It also showed that the 13-year old Windows XP took another big drop.
