New phone won't wake up! Help!

I got my 1520 from AT&T two days ago. I love most everything about it, except yesterday I noticed the screen lag. It was stuck on "resuming" for a couple of minutes. I unpinned the Cortana tile and that seemed to help.

But now, my phone won't wake up! It's fully charged. It was working fine, but now the screen is black and it won't respond to any button I press or hold. I plugged in the charger and it beeped, but nothing came on the screen.

I don't want to trade in this phone for something else (like an iPhone or Note), but these aren't good signs.

Any advice on waking up the phone?

Any advice on sticking it out with the 1520? Should I get a 1520 replacement?

I figured out how to soft reset it. (Whew.) But is this going to be a problem that happens often?
