New TMo account need APN for data?

Unlocked AT&T 520. Just got the walmart/tmo $30 thing and tmo SIM. Installed and the voice works just fine, but no data.

Data
ON
Data roaming
Roam

Got on the tmo site and used (no help from CS as it is not a tmo phone DUH!)
epc.tmobile.com

But, IE cannot find any websites. Anyone have a link to a working "setup" for the 520 with Cyan?

I read here about Internet Sharing not working with Cyan, I'll get to that issue when I can get IE seeing data.

If you have Access Point available on phone, On Phone: Settings\Access Point, Click Add

If Access Point is not listed (not sure as I haven't used a 520), On Phone: Settings\ Mobile Network (Ensure Data connection is set to on)\ Click Add mms apn\ Set APN as internet. Hope that's correct as I pulled info from the interwebs.

Name: T-Mobile
APN: epc.tmobile.com or fast.t-mobile.com
Username: Leave Empty
Password: Leave Empty
Proxy Address: Leave Empty
Proxy Port: 80

Bing Mobile Phone Carrier Settings and it will lead you to a web side that has APN settings for all the carriers in the US. I used it to find the setting for Consumer Cellular and they worked fine. Go to settings then cellular + SIM,then hit Sim settings and input a name (anyone you want), then hit add internet APN and input the settings you got from the site, save them, then hit add MMS apn and input the settings for it. Save it and you should be good to go. Sometimes you have to call your carrier (I had to with Consumer Cellular) and have them put the settings you used into their setup for your phone or it will not work.

That is the only problem in using anyone but ATT or Verizon. You have to do some inside work to get your phone to work right. With ATT or Verizon you just go to one of their outlets and they do the work for you. Of course you pay out the alfa for that help.
