new to windows phone

hey friends,
i want to switch from iphone to WP7.so can anybody come from iphone(i am familiar with Android and iphone) ,can tell me
1. how to unlock(i am from india,so may be i have to unlock the phone)
2. is there any app like installous(iphone) or applanet(android) (or how to get cracked apps).
3. how to install cracked apps.(is there any special requirement)
4. we have to jailbreak WP7 to install cracked apps??? or not?
5. which software we have to use to connect WP7 to my pc(windows xp). i mean pc suite or any other software.

Our homebrew scene is about installing apps that can't be submitted to the regular marketplace, and less about pirating applications so I won't help you there, otherwise:

1: I believe that the developer unlocking the phone and the going through an unbranding process will let you use any SIM, but I'll let someone who's actually performed the process clarify that.
5: The software is Microsoft's Zune software, it's used for updates and transferring music, pictures, videos and podcasts between phone and computer.
