New Windows updates

I have quite a few updates that Windows would like to install. My co-worker recently updated and got an error "inaccessible boot device error". I am worried to install the updates now. Has anyone had this happen with the new updates?

I had a ton of updates install Tuesday. No issues.
I also can't say anything was fixed because I can't think of anything that was broken.

I installed the latest round of updates with no new issues. An "inaccessible boot device" sounds like a hardware failure and not likely related to the updates.

I had my surface turned off for a week.. when I powered it on it had most of its charge left.. Thank god the mystery power off power drain is gone for me.
