News App Alternative

Howdy.

I'm wondering if anyone out there still using Windows 10 Mobile has a suggestion for a better news app. The MSN/Microsoft news app is just too frustrating for me in that REALLY old stories will show in my reading list, and many, MANY copies of the SAME story will also be in the list. I wish there was a way to click-hold on a story and "dismiss" so it doesn't keep showing up.

I've done some searching for a different app, but there aren't very many current postings about a situation like this.

What do you folks use? Thanks in advance. :smile:

It's an oldie but goodie, Nextgen Reader. It's a Metro-style app from the WP 8 and 8.1 days but it has a lot of customization options, good live tiles, and overall holds up pretty well. As a bonus, it's a nostalgic reminder of the halcyon days of WP.
