You are right, that's a good review and they say pretty nice things about the device, I'm not a fan of Alcatel, but I think they can do better things, I had some android device from them all with some problems, but I would like to give it a try to this one.

Honestly, I realized that the Win10 mobile would be dead in next few years when it was announced, simply because of Windows 10 shared code on all devices and UWP apps, thus no point of MSFT wasting resources and supporting mobile platform. Windows 10 will run on mobile devices in the future, with apps that scale and fit various display sizes and some sort of "tablet (phone) mode" for smaller screens.

While I will make no claims for the long-term future of Windows Mobile, its worth noting that full Windows 10 is, compared to phones today, uses a prohibitive amount of storage space as well as may have more overhead than Mobile, so it'll be quite a while. Maybe even farther down the road.

Well, phones with 8 or 16 GB storage are things of the past, 32 or 128 is the new big thing, and full Win10 could fit nicely on those storage sizes.

Clearly Mr. Popa has never heard of the BlackBerry DTEK60. Only difference between the two: QHD (DTEK60) vs. FHD on the Idol 4S.

I think you will be happy. I've had mine for 3 weeks now and am very pleased with it. The build quality is great, excellent look and feel. Very responsive and gets great reception. I don't know what your needs are as far as features go, but this is a pretty full featured phone. I can live without the minor ones it does not have.

Agreed. This phone is as good as any Android or iPhone I've owned. So glad I took the plunge.
