Nightstand cradle/dock?

Would anyone have suggestions for an inexpensive nightstand cradle with a small footprint? I'm looking to replace the Nexus7 I have docked at my bedside with my 830.

I don't care about charging capabilities...if it has it, great; if not, great.

I don't see any DIY options laying around my house. lol

Also you can search for some options to make one if you have access to a MakerBot. I have one for my Nexus 4 orb charger which I then use on all my devices for charging, resting, etc.

I intend to fix my DT-900 charging plate to it to turn it into a charging stand and will probably add a foam base to raise the phone slightly to make the notifications area on the Glance screen visible. I may also add some weight to it to make if less likely to be knocked flying by a hand reaching for the phone with my eyes still closed.

I am currently using the thick cardboard lined display box a watch came in for this but it looks a bit tatty after cutting away the front to show the notifications area. I am not the neatest when it comes to craftwork.

This is what I have for my Nexus orb charger. I got it made in green to match the Android robot. I charge my Lumia 925 and Nexus 7 using this setup.

I have looked at the orb charger before, but like so many others, the angle is too shallow to make it suitable to see the phone screen easily when used as a bedside stand. Good for the desk though.

I love it, cheap and already uses my 900 charge plate. No need to buy another charger!
