No service in 3g mode - Lumia 620

So since the last 4 days my phone gives me a no service issue everytime I set the highest connection speed to 3g and roaming. I thought it was a developer preview bug and decided to downgrade. I successfully downgraded to lumia cyan (rm-846, indian rom). But the problem persists. My phone however works perfectly if I set highest connection speed to 2g and non-roaming. I switched sims and found the problem persisted. Any ideas? It doesnt seem like a hardware defect as I can receive, make calls n browse on 2g. There is no service only when set to 3g. Tried different sims from different operators, problem persists.

Try resetting your phone, that would most probably fix it
