No sound on phone for calls etc

hi there,

I have no sound coming from my phone for calls, messages and when i play music unless my headset is attached to the phone. I've tried trouble shooting the phone and even reset the phone and still nothing. Can anyone suggest what i can do next or what the problem may be.

you should for sure visit the nokia care centre maybe updating the phone with latest firmware solve the problem for you.Nokia care stays open from 10:00 am to 7:00pm

Does the sound come in the headset? I think after the GDR3 update Microsoft changed the way the phone notifies you about calls and messages. Instead of notifying you via headset, it will play the notification sound or ringtone from the speaker. Do you have Lumia Black?

Put some graphite powder on the headphones Port. Then, put in and out your headphones several times. That happens because of a false contact that makes your Phone think the heaphones are always connected.
