No wi-fi when lock screen?

Does anyone know how to enable wi-fi when lock screen? Seems like I have no wifi when lock screen so I cannot receive any notification from email, facebook etc.

WiFi disconnects when the screen goes off on WP7 and WP8. You can't change this.

There is a supposed change to this action coming up in the next update "Portico"

There was an app named Keep Alive, but it's no longer in the marketplace

As stated, they are planning on adding this feature to the next update. WP8 device recently released like the Windows Phone 8S by HTC apparently have this feature already as part of the OS.
