Nokia 830 unlocked Verizon

Probably not. Verizon, Sprint and US Cellular use a style of phone called CDMA. Most the rest of the world (with some exceptions) uses GSM, so most internationally unlocked phones use GSM SIM cards. Your intentional unlocked phone would probably work well on AT&T and T-Mobile, though it may not have the proper specs to get LTE speeds.

If I buy an unlocked 830 will it work on Verizon n the US ??

At the moment it won't work. Verizon is slowly moving to a service that will allow text and voice over LTE, at which point most new phones will work on their network.

Until then, you need a phone that supports CDMA - otherwise you wont be able to place calls. So far, we haven't heard about any verizon versions of the 830, though they were heavily rumored last month.
