Can anyone advise what the initial version of HTML is loaded on the Nokia Lumia 925?

You can't really say as its not a metric on a spec sheet, nor can you "upgrade your HTML"

Its tied to the browser, which is the mobile version of Internet Explorer 11.
HTML5test - How well does your browser support HTML5?
It is HTML 5 capable, not as great as some, but it does the job.
