Just reading on The Verge, the Nokia brand is as good as dead, no more phones with the Nokia branding (other than feature phones).
Really don't understand the thinking on this. Nokia is still an established name in smartphones. I think "Nokia", I think quality hardware, devices with heritage. Whilst we all know it will still be Nokia behind the hardware - the average Joe won't know this?
I understand Microsoft is now a devices & services company, but surely at least some mention of the Nokia construction would be a plus?! Or a transition period for the branding "Microsoft Phone" constructed by Nokia?
Hope I'm wrong, but seems at this stage to be a mistake.
