Not sure if I like this, restricting access to just the one operator hasn't really boosted sales in the US. I would prefer if Nokia give incentive to the man on the floor for pushing the device rather than some top executives sharing the spoils.

Nokia is exploring the option of offering various European carriers exclusive access to its Windows Phone 8 smartphone range, with a promise to share revenue with those who sign up.
A Financial Times source revealed the potential deal from the Finnish manufacturer, as Nokia eyes up a larger market share off the back of the new Windows Phone 8 operating system.
Nokia is apparently approaching various European operators about the possible deal, with the likes of France Telecom and Deutsche Telekom rumoured to be in talks ? the latter being the owner of T-Mobile, which could see the deal head over the channel to the UK.
As part of this supposed partnership Nokia would guarantee operators who signed up a share of the sales on all its Windows Phone 8 handsets.
The thinking behind this is the carriers would push Nokia's smartphones more heavily in store, as the Finnish firm looks to gain a more controlling stake in the mobile market it once ruled.
However there's no firm assurance that Nokia is indeed pursuing this ideal, although the firm already has a similar deal with AT&T in the US, so it's possible that we could see the same here in Europe.
