Nokia Icon Password Reset

Hi,

I got a Lumia Icon about a week ago, and while I was trying to set up my work email, I was taken to a screen that wanted me to enter in an existing password that was at least six numerical digits and create a new one. I had zero idea what it might be, and I entered in a bunch of different things I thought it might be, but nothing worked. I'm now at a screen asking to type in A1B2C3, and I get one more chance before my phone is wiped. I entered that, but when I try to enter my current/new password, the keyboard isn't even coming up. Please help!

Well you might have to face the fact that a hard reset is in your future

Can you turn off the phone? I can try to guide with the hard reset

Yes I can turn it off and on no problem. I even get text and push notifications. This is frustrating as hell lol

Then the phone is prolly stuck. Try a few soft resets first. One or two should help

I did that several times and it didn't work. I did do the hard reset with all the button combos and now my phone seems to work good again, save for my start screen all out of order and no text message history. But anyways thank you for your help, I probably would have thrown my phone out the window if it wasn't for you.

Lol trust me mate, I also had to do a hard reset today so I know the feeling xd
