Nokia Lumia 1020 - viber showing me as offline

Hi!
I recently got my NL1020. My girlfriend is complaining why my status on viber gets offline all the time. I know I have Wifi connected all the time. Then why is viber showing me as offline?
Do you get notification for viber-msgs or calls when you are not using the viber-app?

First, check if viber is allowed in the background tasks (go to settings -> background tasks)
If it is allowed, open viber and check its settings:
a. privacy setting: is Share 'Online' status set to on?
b. notifications: is use push notifications set to on?

All of this is on. But push and share status. She said it gets to "last seen x minutes ago" all the time. Is it beause I leave the viber-app?

Yes...once you exit viber app or switching to another open app, the other side will see "last seen x minutes ago" which is normal. I know it is different than IOS (not sure about android) where it always says online all the time even the user is away doing something else.
Nothing is wrong with your viber.

EDIT: reading it wrongly. You need to turn on push notification so you will know a message comes in, and share your status if you want other side knows that you are online.
