Liveside reports that, Nokia Lumia 525 has now passed the Chinese certification agency TENAA. The device is reported to be music focused and will come in yellow, white, black and orange colors. Expect the announcement of this device from Nokia by end of this month or in early December.

Rumor has it that the Nokia Lumia 525 will come with a WVGA display and dual-core CPU, and sources from BlogJackPhone.com indicated that the phone will have 1GB of RAM, an upgrade from the Lumia 520?s 512MB.

PS: It looks exactly like 520. I hope it has dual SIM support and bigger battery.

1 gb of ram I hope that is really does come with that amount. Had my 521 for over 6 months now, the 525 will be a great successor if it really has 1gb of ram. If the hd is 16gb would be even better.

It's just the RAM upgrade and Chip that's different then. Does having the Snapdragon 400, which can handle 4G, mean it will support this? From what I can see, phones running the 400 are 4G enabled.

Hope my red back cover from my 520 and case fit it. My AT&T 520 handles HSPA. The main thing I see improved is that Glance should be compatible. I'm not sure if it works on WP8 phones with < 1 GB RAM.

Glance and Double Tap To Wake are currently only available on 1GB RAM phones, so yes, now you've said it, this 525 should in theory have both of them, which would be good to see. I can sort of see this move by Nokia/Microsoft to bring out a cheap 1GB RAM phone, so that when 8.1 arrives, by that time this phone could be topping the WP charts and because it is a 1GB phone, it should have more of the upcoming features, that's my prediction anyway.

If Glance and Double Tap To Wake do indeed come to the 525, the only feature from the current Amber release that it would be missing would be the Pro Cam, which would never be expected due to it not having a Pure View camera.
