Nokia Lumia 800 wifi problems

My wifi seems to be fine most of the time but sometimes I go to the wifi toggle and when I try to connect it just says 'searching...'

The only way to fix it is to turn the phone off and back on.

I've moved this thread to the Lumia 800 forum to get more relative exposure how many networks are you able to view at home? Does this issue occur when you're out and about too?

I don't have this issue with any 800 I own.

Isn't there a bug where WP can't see WiFi network on the upper channels (11-13) or something like that. Is your home network set to a fixed channel or does is roam?

It could be an issue with the router. My Lumia is cool at home, no issues connecting but at work where our router is overloaded with so many devices connecting I have major issues connecting.
