This is starting to sound like a broken record...
Gives me more time to save up the money to buy one I guess.

Two days delay for which carrier.?
Are they all (fido) launching on same day?
I check wp central every morning just to see if there's some news about Canadian 830.

The October 17th date is apparently still official for Rogers; does anyone have any news for Telus?

They keep saying either "I don't know" or "We'll have to wait for the official announcement." I'm sure it'll be either tomorrow or very early next week.

I contacted a Microsoft rep and he said that All carriers are delayed until 22 of next week. This includes Rogers, Bell and Telus.

If true then it likely will be $399 for the U.S.

Needs to be $299. Not paying $399. It can be locked to AT&T (my carrier), so usually there's a little discount for that, compared to the international prices.

Perhaps dumb question, do you select a colour or do the various back plates come in the box?

Also, where would you recommend buying a memory card? Will Wal Mart carry them? I've always had bigger memory phones so this will be the first time I need to expand.

Thanks!

Turns out it is $399 from Rogers, so it may be $350ish in the U.S.

Is that locked or unlocked? The AT&T off contract phones are actually still locked (which is fine).
