Nokia Lumia 925 pink spot on screen

Hey guys, my lumia 925 started showing a pink spot near front camera on screen two days back. Now that pink spot has expanded almost till center of my screen and getting darker by hour. Can anyone suggest if you have experienced the same? Is the a software problem or a faulty hardware?

Never heard of anything like that before :/ Did sth fall on your screen, probably a liquid or sth? Did you try to rub it off?

More likely hardware but not necessarily faulty. Could be from damage.

Thanks for response guys. No, it did not fell on screen. I submitted today to Nokia care center. let's see what happens.
